• Accuracy of Quotes: All estimates are based on a visual inspection of the property and are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
• Transparent Pricing: We provide detailed estimates with no hidden fees. Any changes to the scope of work requested by the client after the contract is signed will require a written change order and may affect the final price.
• The “Integrity Risk”: We do not provide “low-ball” bids that hide the true cost of materials or labor; our pricing reflects the high-quality materials and professional craftsmanship we provide.

2. Scheduling and Performance

• The Disappearing Schedule: We value your time and treat start dates as firm commitments, not suggestions.
• Delays: While we strive to meet every deadline, Sugarcreek Painting is not liable for delays caused by weather (for exterior projects), material shortages, or other factors beyond our reasonable control.
• Site Access: Clients must provide the crew with access to the property, water, and electricity during the agreed-upon work hours.

3. Preparation and Client Responsibilities

• The “Hassle-Free” Experience: We handle the heavy lifting, including moving large furniture and protecting surfaces with drop cloths.+1
• Personal Items: We ask that clients remove all small breakables, wall hangings, and electronics from the work area prior to our arrival to ensure a safe workspace.

4. Warranty and Craftsmanship

• 3-Year Warranty: We stand behind our work with a full 3-year warranty covering craftsmanship issues such as peeling or blistering.
• Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, structural movement, or moisture issues inherent to the property.
• Making it Right: If our work does not meet the “Sugarcreek Standard,” we will return to make it right—no excuses.+1

• Payment Terms: Payment schedules will be outlined in your specific project contract.
• Final Walkthrough: Final payment is typically due upon completion of the project and your final walkthrough to ensure complete satisfaction.
